Eagle's Nest Robotics

All Robotics are EN activities and require membership in Eagle's Nest to participate. Robotics follows the EN/Eluminatus calendar and meets at the same location.

Our Middle School Robotics TEAM has finished for the year and will start back in August.

This team is for students in grades 5 to 8. We use Lego's Spike Prime robot to compete in the First Lego League Challenge competition. The kickoff for the season is in August and the first competition will be in November or December with the possibility of advancement to competitions in the new year. We will meet on Thursday afternoons for 1 and 1/4 hours AND on Mondays for 3 hours each week during the fall to prepare. Please email Amy Cox ([email protected]) with any questions.

Our Elementary Robotics Intro sessions are offered in the Spring only.

There are 2 8-week sessions (Jan-Mar. and Mar-May) offered on Thursdays for 1 hour 15 minutes each that give the students a chance to get their hands on and try out the introductory WeDo Lego robot as well as the Spike Prime used by the middle school team.
